OSHA Requires Employee Safety Training
The Occupational Safety Hazards Act (OSHA) requires all employers ensure that their employees are properly trained to prevent jobsite injuries. From October 2006 through September 2007, OSHA’s eighth most cited violation in the construction industry was lack of training requirements and the tenth most cited violation was aerial lifts (www.osha.gov/pls/imis/citedstandard.sic). Proper training and proper documentation of this training is crucial in preventing OSHA violations and fines. Southeastern Training & Inspection, LLC can provide the necessary training and documentation to help keep your company in compliance with OSHA regulations.
